Reading trainer load beside learner completion
Learner completion charts without trainer context can mislead. A dip in a hospitality practical course may reflect an instructor covering three overlapping cohorts, not a sudden drop in learner motivation.
In interpretation sessions we place trainer assigned hours next to completion for the same window. The goal is not to rank instructors. It is to give the programme manager a fair conversation starter: whether coverage, room constraints, or assessment timing needs adjustment before the next intake.
Keep the view simple. One bar or line for assigned hours, one for completion rate by cohort. Add substitution notes as text beside the period rather than as a third chart. Managers leave the room with concrete scheduling questions instead of vague concern about “performance.”
